On the reverse, a postcard sent from Monaco, stamped with a 15-centime stamp depicting a cactus, with a cancellation dated August 28, 1959. The address is addressed to 'Monsieur Le Goff and his family' in Pleurtuit (Ille-et-Vilaine), with handwritten notes 'Bons souvenirs de Varan' and 'Amicalement'.
