Description

Illustrated postcard depicting the legend of Our Lady of Orcival, with three views: the interior of the church, the statue of the Virgin, and the apse. The text recounts the discovery of the statue and the construction of the church in the 12th century. Reverse: handwritten text from a visit to Orcival in summer 1996, green 2.90F stamp, postmark from Puy-de-Dôme, recipient to Guichen (Loire-Atlantique).
