Black and white view of the Gorges du Gud, with a stream below and a tunnel carved into the rocky walls. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 14, 1951, addressed to Madame F. Chaintreton at the Hôtel des Glaciers in Val d'Isère (Pavie), mentioning the beauty of the landscapes and the presence of glaciers. 12-centime postage stamp and original postmark from Aiguilles.
