Winter landscape of Bourg-Saint-Maurice at sunrise, with a village nestled above a dense fog and mountains in the background. The reverse side features a handwritten letter to Mrs. Georges Desglands in Vitry-sur-Seine, dated February 28, 1983, mentioning a visit to La Rosière and snowboarding activities. A 20-franc stamp and a postmark from Bourg-Saint-Maurice are affixed.
