Panoramic view of La Ciotat, with its red-roofed houses nestled in limestone cliffs and a ruined castle overlooking the coast. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated August 15, 1952, addressed to Montmorency, with a 25-centime French postage stamp and a cancellation from La Ciotat.
