Panoramic view of the Verdon Gorges, with the Cirque de Vaumale and Lake Ste-Croix, in the Alpes de Haute-Provence. Printed text on the front describes the site as one of the most magnificent in the world. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated July 1977, sent from Roquefort-les-Pins, mentioning family holidays and a planned visit to Grenoble.
