Colored view of a road carved into a rocky canyon, with a tunnel carved into the cliff on the right. The sky shows twilight hues. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 6/6/1954, addressed to Madame and Monsieur E. De Jemine in Douai, with a 15-centime French postage stamp and a 'VAR' postmark.
