17th-century statue of Notre-Dame du Piliers, framed within the Cathedral of Chartres (Eure-et-Loir), adorned with a embroidered veil of lilies and roses. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated September 6, 1944, sent by a correspondent to her friend, describing her journey and admiration for the cathedral. The publisher Valoire is mentioned at the bottom right.
