Black and white panoramic view of the summit of Col du Tourmalet, with its two slopes and the Pic d'Espade in the background, a winding road and a small building at the foot of the mountains. Reverse: printed text indicating the altitude and publisher, French postage stamp of 20 francs dated 1962, postmark from Sainte-Marie-de-Ribérac (16445), and handwritten correspondence addressed to M. Pilling in Saint-Rémy-de-Chiaramont, in the Pyrenees.
