Black and white panoramic view of the beach and embankment of La Faute-sur-Mer, with swimmers and parasols in the foreground, and a row of coastal buildings in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated December 26, 1953, sent from La Faute-sur-Mer to Paris, with a 20 franc stamp and a cancellation from Laiguillonne (Vendée).
