Description

Black and white view of an alpine snowy landscape with the peaks of Châtelet (1785 m) and Meije (3982 m). At the lower left, a small snowy village with a few buildings. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated February 21, 1951, sent to Mrs. A. Marteau in Limay (S. Oise), with a 12 centimes blue stamp and a postmark from Villeneuve-sur-Vère.
