Vibrant religious procession in Lima, Peru, with a dense crowd surrounding an ornate statue carried by men in purple robes. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 19-7-83, sent from Lima to Spain, mentioning the procession and the 'Vasos de la Cultura Wari'. Two 200 centimos 'Cultura Wari' stamps are affixed, with a Lima cancellation.
