Description

Panoramic view of Loch Coruisk and the Cuillins, Isle of Skye, with steep mountains and rocks in the foreground, under a cloudy sky. The back features a handwritten letter dated 21.09.76, addressed to Mrs. Berthou in Villejuif, with a British stamp and a postmark from Ross-shire, Scotland. Printed text at the bottom: 'Loch Coruisk lies beyond the head of Loch Scavaig, within the very heart of the Cuillins, whose peaks and precipitous slopes are so often among the clouds.'
