Postcard showing Lake Ullswater surrounded by green mountains, with fields and trees in the foreground. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated July 19, 1978, addressed to Marie, and a British 3 pence stamp. A postmark from Kendal (Cumbria) is visible, as well as a printed message in English: 'Remember to use the post code!'
