Description

Interior of the underground Basilica of Saint Peter in Lourdes, with altar, chairs, and suspended candlesticks under a wooden vault. Printed text on the reverse indicates the dimensions (length 200 m, width 80 m, height 10 m) and the architects (P. Vago, Le Donné, Pinsard). Reverse: postcard sent from Monaco in 1963, French 20 franc stamp, Monaco postmark, and handwritten message addressed to Odile in La Roche-sur-Foron.
