View of a village nestled in snow-capped mountains, with a dirt road and a water canal in the foreground. On the reverse, printed text indicating '1704 - LUCHON — Valley of the Lys' and 'Thermes de Luchon'. Postal stamp of 40 centimes of the French Republic postmarked at Bagnères-de-Luchon on 7 April 1969. Handwritten message addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Sicaumont in Paris.
