Panoramic view of Luzern with a central fountain, lake, and boats at the dock, with the city and its church with towers in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 31, 1955, sent from Luzern to Lagayette (Côtes du Nord, France), with a 25-centime Helvetia stamp and a postmark 'LUZERN 31 AUG 1955'.
