Black and white aerial view of the church in Marennes, dominated by its imposing Gothic bell tower, amidst a dense urban fabric and agricultural fields. On the reverse, a handwritten inscription dated 4/8/50, addressed to Mrs. Larnicol in Allichan (Cher), with an 8 franc postal stamp canceled 'MARENNE' and a note 'VISITEZ MARENNE DEGUSTEZ SES HUITRES'.
