Black and white view of lake Märjelensee (2345 m) and the Aletsch Glacier, with ice blocks in the foreground. The reverse features a handwritten correspondence dated August 27 to 30, 1956, sent to Mrs. Montouillout in Drancy (Seine), with a 25 centimes Helvetia stamp canceled at Egishorn.
