Description

Postcard depicting the prison house in Le Diamant, Martinique, with the Piton du Diamant in the background. The reverse side features handwritten correspondence dated May 1st, 1970, sent from Fort-de-France, mentioning the author's visit to an altitude of 1000 meters and the discovery of an old prison house. A Martinique postage stamp is affixed, canceled in Le Diamant.
