Aerial view of the troglodyte village of Matmata, with its rock-carved dwellings and visitors. On the reverse, printed text in several languages describing Matmata as a troglodyte hotel, a handwritten French correspondence, and a Tunisian 250 millimes postmark dated August 20, 1981, with a cancellation from JERBA.
