Panoramic view of the Monastery of La Grande Chartreuse in autumn, with its white buildings and dark roofs nestled in a valley surrounded by forests and steep mountains. On the reverse, a postcard dated September 23, 1951, sent from Lyon-Carré, with a 20-centime stamp and a handwritten letter addressed to Madame and Monsieur Jacques Gandy in Lons-le-Saunier.
