Black and white view of a stone bridge crossing the Ruhr river, flanked by typical half-timbered houses of Monschau. The printed text at the bottom of the front side refers to Monschau as 'The Pearl of the Eifel'. The back indicates the publisher 'Verlag Hermann Weiss, Monschau/Eifel' and a handwritten correspondence addressed to 'Hilde Herotens, Hildehof 18, Oeuvre C, Antwerpen, Belgique', with a green 10 pfennig stamp and a postmark from Monschau dated 14.4.1952.
