View of the Mosque of Murad I, built in 1350, with its characteristic domes and minarets, surrounded by greenery and hills. Reverse: printed text in French, English, and German, handwritten message dated September 13, 1973, addressed to Madame Patrie in Saint-Gratien (France), Turkish postage stamp and cancellation mark 'ISTANBUL' with note 'PAR AVION'.
