Colored view of the Vesuvius Monument in Stalingrad, with a central obelisk, colonnades, and a blue car on a wet road. On the reverse, a Soviet postcard dated July 2, 1961, sent from Stalingrad to Paris, with handwritten French text and two Soviet stamps (1 kopeck and 3 kopeck) featuring the portrait of Y. A. Gagarine.
