Colorized view of a commemorative monument to M. Gor'kij in Moscow, with a statue on a monumental base at the center of a square, in front of urban buildings. On the reverse, a 40 kopecks stamp of the USSR, a Moscow postmark dated 1956, and an inscription indicating the publisher: 'Izdanie Ministerstva sviazi SSSR'.
