Medieval illustration depicting a dark-feathered, wavy-maned bird fighting a coiled serpent, taken from manuscript lat. 8878, fol. 13. Reverse: publisher 'Phot. Bibl. Nat. Paris', mention of the provenance from the Museum of the Jacobins in Saint-Sever, and indication that the photograph was taken by the Saint-Sever Archaeological Research Group.
