Description

Flemish tapestry dating from the end of the 15th century, depicting the Creation of the World, displayed in the cathedral of Narbonne. It measures 7.85 m in height by 4.20 m in width and was bequeathed to the cathedral chapter by Archbishop Fouquet, after the exile of his brother, the Superintendent of Finance. The reverse indicates the publisher: 'Éditions S.L., 157, avenue des Frères Lumières'.
