Night view of the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, with a large illuminated boat on the sea and cars moving along the palm-lined road. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to J. Bratland, with a 2.50 F red stamp and a postmark from Nice dated 6 April 1972, as well as the publisher's indication and mention of the international book festival.
