Description

Black and white view of the port of Nice, with a lighthouse in the foreground and a monumental tunnel in the hill in the background. A ship is moored at the dock. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'M. Dailly' in Le Trepont, with a 12 franc stamp depicting the bridge of Pisa and a postmark from Nice dated 18 September 1956. The publisher is indicated as 'Editions SEPT - Genuine Manufacturing'.
