Description

Aerial view of the Arenas of Nîmes, a Roman monument dating from the beginning of the 1st century AD, presenting an elliptical shape with a major axis of 133.38 m and a minor axis of 101.40 m. The printed text specifies a height of 21 meters and 60 arches on each level, with a capacity for 21,000 spectators. The back features a handwritten letter addressed to 'Mr. G. Gillen' in Buxey en Oltre, with a French 30-centime stamp dated 19 July 1973.
