Black-and-white panoramic view of Offenburg i. B., highlighting a church with twin spires in the center of a village surrounded by wooded hills. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated June 11, 1946, sent from Bingen-sur-le-Rhin, addressed to Henri and Georges Baumann in Paris, mentioning memories of Germany and travels. German postage stamp 'Metz' canceled.
