Black and white view of an 11th-century campanile in Ospedaletto, on the shores of Lake Como, with the island of Comacina in the background. The reverse features handwritten text dated 23-8-59, addressed to 'Neufmeneil, Jan La Haye du Puits, France', with an Italian 15 centesimi stamp and a 'COMO' cancellation.
