Description

Black and white view of the Roman ruins of Ostia, showing the Via dei Balconi and the House of Diana, with a brick building on the right and ruins on the left. On the reverse, a handwritten letter in French addressed to Mr. Courteau in Paris, with an Italian 10 centesimi postage stamp and a cancellation from Rome dated 4 November 1954.
