Description

Icon depicting the Virgin Mary holding the Infant Jesus, framed in an oval decorated with motifs and angels. The reverse indicates that this is a work from the Yaroslavl Art Museum, dated around 1710–1720, restored by E.I. Serégina. The Russian description highlights the maternal tenderness and artistic details such as the fine outlines, colors (red, green, gold, silver), and the texture of the painting.
