Interior view of the altar of the Dome of the Invalides, showing a crucifix behind an ornate grille, flanked by sculpted columns and topped with an architectural decoration. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated January 1954, sent from Paris to M. Jean Vergnet-Ruiz, with a 12-franc stamp depicting the Pont-Neuf and a Paris distribution postmark.
