Description

Locomotive No. 790 'Hardwicke', built in 1892 for express traffic between Euston and Carlisle, was one of the last of its class in service until January 1932, having traveled 1,326,470 miles. It is preserved at the London Transport Museum. The reverse indicates that it was printed and published by J. Arthur Dixon in Newport, England.
