Colorized postcard presenting a four-part composition: the castle viewed from different angles, a portrait of Henri IV, and an elaborately decorated interior room. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Mme Checkler in Algiers, dated February 4, 1942, with a French postage stamp from 1942 and a cancellation from Pau (B.P.).
