Description

Interior of a royal chamber at the Château de Pau, with a carved wooden four-poster bed, a large octagonal chest of drawers, and embroidered armchairs. The reverse indicates that the room was used by Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie during their stays in Pau. French postage stamp of 2.10 F dated 1985, with a handwritten address to Paris.
