Description

View of a typical quarter of Fontarabie, in the Spanish Basque Country, with a donkey loaded with a basket in the foreground and buildings with balconies where laundry is drying. On the reverse, a postcard dated 1958, stamped 20 centimes, sent from Bayonne to Paris, with a handwritten letter from Joseph Marie to his mother and the whole family. The publisher is L. Lavielle, a reproduction manufacturer, and the stamp has the cancellation of Bayonne.
