Description

View of the Temple of Heaven in Peking, with its altar Qi Nian Dian, built during the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644). The printed text describes its architecture: white marble base, blue-tiled roof, and multiple steps and pillars in the number nine, an imperial symbol. The reverse mentions the publisher Service S.A. Paris and the serial number XVIII-A2.
