Smiling little girl in traditional Vendée costume, wearing a bonnet decorated with lace and ribbons, dressed in a puffed-sleeve blouse and a scarf tied around her neck. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated May 1952, sent from Les Sables-d'Olonne, mentioning the dance she was performing at a local festival, with a 15-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Les Sables-d'Olonne.
