Black and white view of Plön Castle overlooking the lake, with a church with a pointed spire in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated September 14, 1965, sent from Plön to Menneveit (Aisne, France), mentioning a week spent in this tourist city surrounded by lakes. German 10 pfennig postmark canceled September 20, 1965, in Plön.
