Picturesque view of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, showing a cobbled street lined with timber-framed houses and a tower with a clock. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mrs. Brison in Saint-Maur, France, dated April 14, 1887, with a 20 pfennig German postage stamp and a postmark from Stuttgart-Bad. The publisher Krüger is mentioned at the bottom of the reverse.
