Description

Painted limestone bust of Queen Nefertiti, profile view, wearing her characteristic diadem and decorative collar, displayed on a pedestal. On the reverse, handwritten French text expresses the sender's amazement at the wonders of Egypt, addressed to Mlle Martin Arlette in Paris. Two Egyptian 25 piastre stamps depicting Egyptian statues are affixed, with partial cancellation.
