Description

Black and white view of an imposing Gothic building with turrets and mullioned windows, identified as the Hôtel Fumé (15th century), currently the faculty of letters. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 8/6/1948, addressed to a primary school inspector in Montmorillon, informing that an oral examination for the Certificate of History of Philosophy will take place on Friday and not Saturday. 5 franc postage stamp and a Paris postmark.
