Description

Black and white view of the City Hall of Poitiers, an imposing neo-classical building with an ornate façade and a central tower. In the foreground, vintage cars are circulating on the square. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated Wednesday, April 4, 1939, sent from Poitiers to relatives in Vienna, discussing a scooter trip to Paris. In the lower right corner, the publisher 'Véritable Photo' and the serial number 'I.B. 2924' are visible.
