Description

View of the famous Roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard, with its three levels of stone arches crossing a river, under a blue sky dotted with clouds. On the reverse, a postcard sent from Nîmes on 15 November 1970, with a handwritten letter to Madame Canaday in Cavaillon, and a 10-centime stamp canceled.
