Interior view of a grand, richly decorated ballroom at Palácio Nacional de Queluz, with a painted and gilded ceiling, mirrors, chandeliers, and polished wooden floor. On the reverse, handwritten French text expresses admiration for Portugal, addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Barbican in Villejinf 94, France, with a Portuguese postal stamp dated August 1, 1977, and a postmark from Caldeira.
