Description

Richly decorated interior of a white marble tomb, sculpted with floral motifs and elephants, beneath a painted and gilded coffered ceiling. On the reverse, a handwritten French text greeting holidays in Portugal and addressed to Pilou in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France. Two Portuguese 20$00 stamps, postmarked Aveiro on September 21, 1985.
